Persuasive Writing - Harry Potter is the best book series ever!

Harry Potter is my favorite book series to read!
I think everyone should read these books. If you are a fan of magic (not pulling bunnies out of a hat, but blowing things up with a wave of your wand) then this is the book series for you!

I love how many hexes are in this book. Some lift things in the air (whingardum leveosa) while others blow things up (crofingo, incendo, reducto, exc.). And that’s only a tenth of all the good spells! But not all spells are fun. There are 3 unforgivable curses. If you cast one on a fellow human, you earn a one way ticket to Azkaban, the inescapable wizard prison. They are the killing curse (avda kadavra), torture curse (cruco), and the mind control curse (impereo).

I also love that a fight happens in every book. In book 3 their new dark arts teacher turns out to be a werewolf and they battle him near the Whomping Willow, a live tree with a nasty temper.   And in book 4 Harry had to fight a dragon so he could win the try wizard   tournament.

I think everyone should read this series. There are so many spells and epic fights that if you read 1 chapter you will want to read them all. These books will be the most magical stories you’ll ever read. No, seriously.

the extremely intersting Ping-Pong match

The extremely interesting Ping-Pong match.

One day my family and went out to eat at a pub. When we arrived, my dad and I saw a Ping-Pong table and decided to play a couple rounds while we waited for our food. After a few games I was getting good at it, but then something interesting happened.
I decided to try out a bigger paddle, but it worked too well. The ball shot up and bounced back and forth between 2 light bulbs for about 9 seconds.  Then it shot away, bounced off a glass, hit the table, and fell to the floor, causing me to score! My dad was in so much shock that he couldn’t move! It was, and probably will stay, the coolest Ping-Pong score of my life.
